Shaftesbury Town Hall is located in the centre of Shaftesbury High Street and enjoys spectacular views down popular Gold Hill and across the Blackmore Vale. The building is Grade II Listed and was built in 1837.

PWCR were appointed by Shaftesbury Town Council for the Town Hall renovation project which included replacing the aging fibre-cement roofing with natural slate, insertion of rooflights and safety equipment, installation of solar PV panels, and re-construction of the clock chamber. Extensive stone repairs and pointing was also completed as well as restoration of the leaded light windows to the High Street elevation. Windows and railings were decorated to complete the project. After successfully obtaining Listed Building Consent and Planning permission for the above works, the project was completed in May 2024.
