The brief was to provide a small boarding house with a tutor’s flat, both with separate entrances. Walls have been built using Ham stone quoins and relieving arches with Chilmark stone for general walling to tone in with the original walls. The school head has received many compliments over the way they had this wing of the original building restored – from people who had not realised it is a new construction!
